Notes and attachments: who sees what

Every note has an audience: agency only, agency and interpreters, agency and client, or everyone. The description always goes to interpreters. Attachments reach interpreters on the job.

What the video says

Every note in IMP has an audience. Pick the right one and private details stay private.

  1. When you write a note, you choose who can see it.
  2. Agency only stays with your staff. Agency and interpreters goes to interpreters on the job: parking, entrances, prep. Agency and client shows in the client's portal. Everyone means all three.
  3. The job description is different. Interpreters always see it. Anything confidential belongs in an agency-only note.
  4. Interpreters can add notes too. Those go to your agency only.
  5. Clients can add notes from their portal. Those go to you and the client, never to interpreters.
  6. You can attach files to a job: prep material for a show, a presentation, or a meeting, and paperwork the interpreter needs to sign. Interpreters on the job can open them. If you remove an interpreter, they lose access.
  7. Notification emails never carry the details. Just the job number and a link. Everything else stays behind the sign-in.
