Welcome to IMP: three portals, one sign-in

How IMP fits together: your agency's own branded subdomain, the agency, interpreter, and client portals, the phone app, and which roles see what.

What the video says

Welcome to IMP. I'm Ethan. In two minutes you'll know how IMP fits together.

  1. Your agency gets its own subdomain: your short name, then interpretationmanagement.com. Your own sign-in page, with your name and logo on it. Your staff, your interpreters, and your clients all sign in there.
  2. IMP opens the right portal for each person. Nobody picks a portal. Their role decides it.
  3. The agency portal is for you and your coordinators. Scheduling, people, billing, and reports all live there.
  4. Interpreters have their own portal: job offers, their schedule, the days they can't work, and their pay. Most use the phone app, which is the same portal with notifications.
  5. Your clients get a portal too. They request interpreters, follow their appointments, and pay invoices. A client only ever sees their own organization. Never your other clients, and never your rates.
  6. Roles decide what each person can see and do. On your side, admin and interpreter. On the client side, account admin, requestor, and limited requestor. Each one has its own video.
  7. One last thing about these videos. Each one covers a single feature, and starts by showing you where to find it. If you'd rather read than watch, the written steps are on the same page.

Start with your agency's profile and hours.
