Inviting interpreters, and where their pay lives

Interpreters join by invitation. The link lasts 24 hours and can be resent. Each interpreter's page holds their certifications, a rating only your team sees, their calendar, and their pay.

What the video says

Interpreters join IMP by invitation. Here's how that works, and what you keep on each one.

  1. You invite an interpreter with their name and email. They get a personal link, set a password, and they're in.
  2. The link works for 24 hours. If it runs out, send a fresh one. Nothing you set up is lost. Until they accept, they count as invited, not active.
  3. Every interpreter has their own page. Their certifications come from a standard list, so spellings match across your whole roster.
  4. You can rate each interpreter, from one to five stars. The rating is for your team only. Interpreters never see it.
  5. Their page also shows their calendar: every job they're confirmed for, and any that are waiting on you to confirm.
  6. Their pay lives here too: what you pay them per hour, a daily rate if you pay by the day, and the minimum hours you pay for.
  7. If you pay differently for video, phone, or a client's own platform, set those rates as well. Leave one empty and their hourly rate applies.
  8. Interpreters can update their own phone, email, and address. Their certifications, rating, and pay stay with you.
  9. If they already work with another agency on IMP, the same sign-in covers both.

One more step before they get offers: their languages and permissions.
