What the video says

IMP has the fields most agencies need. Custom fields are for the ones only you need.

  1. A custom field is one you add yourself: a purchase order number, a badge number, whether a background check is required. Anything your clients or your workflow ask for that IMP doesn't have built in.
  2. Each field has a label and a type: text, a number, a list of options, a checkbox, a longer text area, or a date.
  3. And each one lives somewhere: on the appointment form, on the client account, or on the interpreter profile.
  4. You can make it required, so nobody can save the form without it.
  5. You decide who sees it. Show it in broadcast, and interpreters see it on the offer. Show it in job detail, and it's on the appointment itself.
  6. Fields can be turned off without being deleted, so old records keep their data.
  7. An example. A school district requires a background check on every job. Add a required checkbox to the appointment form, show it to interpreters, and nobody forgets.

Next, your first client account.
