What interpreters see before they're confirmed

When you offer a job, how much should an interpreter see before they're confirmed? You decide.

1. Before an interpreter is confirmed, an offer always shows the essentials: date, time, language, how it's delivered, and the area. Everything beyond that is your call.
2. There are five choices. The full address, or just the city and state until they're confirmed.
3. The client's name. Some agencies keep that back until someone is booked.
4. The contact person and their phone number, and the consumer's name. That name is how an interpreter checks for a conflict of interest before accepting, so many agencies show it up front.
5. The pay rate. Showing estimated pay gets faster answers on hard-to-fill jobs. Hiding it keeps rates out of view until someone is confirmed.
6. And the job description, so interpreters can judge whether the work fits them.
7. Once an interpreter is confirmed, they see everything, whatever you choose here.
