Interpreter pay and pay periods

Interpreter pay comes from each interpreter's profile, with one-job changes when needed. Set your pay periods, then run interpreter payroll for each period.

What the video says

How IMP knows what you owe each interpreter, and when.

  1. Pay starts on each interpreter's profile: their hourly rate, and separate rates for video or phone work if you pay differently.
  2. Then you set your pay periods: weekly, every two weeks, twice a month, or monthly.
  3. For weekly or every two weeks, a start date anchors the cycle. You also set how many days after a period ends you pay.
  4. IMP puts every completed job into its pay period, with totals, and shows your upcoming paydays.
  5. For payroll, run the interpreter payroll report for the period. It lists each interpreter's jobs and total, and you can export it for your payroll system.
  6. Paying extra for one hard job? Change the pay on that job alone. Their profile rate stays the same.
  7. Interpreters see the same numbers in their own portal.
